The location of the hotel is ideal for walkabouts of old Granada. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where the food is great, at good prices and is typically Spanish.

Polite staff speaking good English. I found the staff most helpful, at any time of day and night they answered any sorts of questions regarding traveling around Spain. Location of the hotel is the very best for sightseeing - at the river and Alhambra is very near - just take a close street up and in 7 minutes you are at the entrance. Wi-fi though in the lobby has strong connection. The hotel interior is very nice. I was accommodated on 4th floor, room 402, the interior of the room was just impressive.The room was clean and neat. My neighbors were quite and there was no noise from the street, nor from the lift or the bar which is located next door to the hotel.Fridge is available in the room and hairdryer (if asked).

The hotel is within a very old building and has a sense of history. It has interesting character and is comfortable. The location is fantastic and the hotel looks up to the Alhambra.the only tricky thing was that we had a car and the GPS wanted to take us through a restricted area. We ended up using a car park about 10 mins from the hotel and walking.

We stayed in a beautiful room (room 301). It was full of character, an amazing vaulted ceiling, and view from a small balcony up to the Alhambra. The interior of the hotel is very tastefully decorated and furnished. Location is great, close to the centre of town and at the bottom of the Albayzin. Reception staff were helpful and had reasonable English.

Fabulous location, at foot of Alhambra, and also at foot of Albaicin -- maze of narrow cobbled old streets. Has a bar/restaurant attached -- great for breakfasts and other meals, and very reasonably priced. Very attractive old building with interesting antique furniture and fittings. Extremely friendly helpful staff.

Everything was great.

Location is good. It is at the entry of the old town, walking distance to everywhere. The decor inside is pretty attractive.

My room is pretty spacious which has a hot tub, however, the room was filled with smell when we first stepped in, a smell that it hadn't been used for a long time. Things in the room are not very well maintained, I.E. the hot tub, the fridge.

there was a bit of a smell from the drains, but I think this might be a general problem with old buildings in the area. The rooms we were in, just above reception, were not well sound proofed from each other or from the landing outside

Really nice internal courtyard (reception area). The hotel had a lovely historic feel to it. Great location.

Beautiful surroundings, beautiful hotel. Great location! Room was a loft with a view of Alhambra! Amazing! Right across from the Hammam and the shopping.

It was a great experidnce except that our room, which had a wonderful view of Alhambra, was also on the first floor directly above the main street of Albaicin. That meant yhat cars and people were passing almost through our room all night--it was incredibly loud! Location is fantastic but perhaps a room without a view would be less loud.

Excellent location, charming building and very helpful staff. Room, with a window to the back street, was pleasantly quiet. Was also nice to have a fridge/mini-bar in the room.

The matress/pillows were not great and the double bed kind of small considering the size of the room.

Central location, nice hall/patio and friendly staff.

Noisy room. Smell of smoke (from neighbours from underneith the door). Unclean bathroom with lots of ant and rotten smell. Non English speaking staff.

We had the room with Alhambra view but don't really recommend because the view is from the bottom of the mountain so not amazing + on the street so quite noisy in the morning
